  Took my senior cat here as an emergency & thought their prices were relatively reasonable. $100 for an emergency exam isn't the worst I've ever paid. They outlined all of the options, very thoroughly, and let me decide what was best for my cat & my budget. The entire staff seemed very competent and caring. There was a bit of a wait to get medications but, other than that, I would highly recommend this place when your pet has an emergency!

  One rattlesnake bite later and my dog is alive and almost none for the worse! I was able to get over to VRCC within a good time period for my pooch to get treatment. This did include the anti-venom stuff, monitoring, pain meds, blood checks, etc. They did invite me to get him ahead of the 24 hour period since he was doing so well....and so I actually got more money back. I hope to not utilize this again since this was scary, but I know that I can depend on them to care for this dog who has no natural instincts to realize that the rattle is a warning! :)
